Mantrip: Thailand ‘08

Mantrip, as the name suggests was the coming together of four mates for a trip overseas for the hell of it. The main destination was Thailand, with 5 days spent in Phuket, more specifically the Banthai hotel - which I HIGHLY recommend. Some of the highlights of the Phuket leg of the trip were visits to the P-P Islands via Speedboat, which included snorkling, and visiting Monkey Beach.

One of the great parts of the trip was actually based on the hotel we were staying at, the Banthai hotel. Looking out from my room we could see the pool bar. What more could you possibly want than drinking a nice cool beverage in a pool at the perfect temperature? I’ll tell you what…having your own drinks served to you at the pool bar! We were pretty good customers for the bar on the first couple of days, so they let us bring down our own scotch and dry, and they served it to us for free on the following days, only one word for that. Glorious!!
